Happy Birthday to You
Happy Birthday to You
Happy Birthday Dear Jillra
Happy Birthday to You

I can't believe that you are 30 years old. That is three decades old. The scariest part about that means that in two years, I'll be that old. I wish that we could have been there to party with you. We'll see you soon and I'll be sure to kiss and pinch you 30 times. I love you so much sister.

7 Years Already

I can't believe it has been seven years since Adam and I got married. It was a fun by crazy day. When I say crazy, I mean we kept losing needed things. Not funny on the wedding day, but really funny to think of now.

Funny lost item part one:
The day before the wedding we went to get our marriage license. No biggie. Fast forward to the day of the wedding. The girls and I were all getting ready in our room. Leisa, Jill, Kaytee, Anna, and Jennifer. My Mom, Bonnie, her best friend Jackie, Jackie's daughter Kelsey, and Bonnie's Aunt Hazel are all there to get everything cleaned up for the reception that will be in our suite following the ceremony. I give Jill, my maid of honor, the marriage license and ask her to be in charge of it. "Sure, I got it." We head downstairs for the wedding. The wedding coordinator comes in the room and asks for the marriage license, I tell her my sister Jill will be down with it in a minute. Okay no problem. Jill comes in the room and I tell her that they need the marriage license now. Her face goes blank. Ummmmmm. She forgot it upstairs, no biggie. She and a few others go upstairs to look for it. No one can find it. So a few more people go upstairs to look for it. At this point the wedding coordinators is telling us that if we can't find it soon we will have to come back later to get married. There is another wedding that has booked the room. Starting to stress. Finally everyone comes back down with it. My mom had found it, in a shoe box, on top of the safe in the closet. We don't know who put it in there, but we are just glad we found it. Okay the wedding can start now.

Or so we think.

Funny lost item part two:
**Back story: I called the boys room the morning of the wedding to tell Adam that his bag with all his contact stuff was in our room. He said that he'd sent Bo up to our room to get it and my ring. So Bo is woken out of a dead sleep to get this stuff from me.**
The wedding coordinator pops her head in the ask where my ring was. The preacher wanted to make sure that Jill, the maid of honor and Casey, the best man had the rings. I told her the Bo, my brother has my ring and Jill already has Adam's. She leaves and comes back a minute later with Bo. So I ask Bo where my ring is. Blank look. He doesn't remember who he gave the ring too or if he left it in the room. He just doesn't know. I bust into tears. I am mostly sad because my ring is actually Adam's late grandmother's ring. We aren't going to postpone the wedding to look for the ring, so Anna and Jennifer both say that I could use their engagement ring as a stand in so that we can do the ceremony. Jennifer's ring doesn't fit, so I borrow Anna's ring. The wedding can finally start. Yay. I'm still a little upset during the ceremony because of the lost ring, but am so excited to be marrying Adam. After the ceremony we go into a portrait studio and start taking wedding pictures. Jill runs into the studio with my ring. Yay. We ask her who had the ring and none other than Aunt Mariah. How did Aunt Mariah end up with it? So this is the story. Bo gave Adam the ring. Adam gave it to my mom who was helping out with Devin, the ring bearer. When Adam asked my mom where the ring was she said she gave it to Leisa. But she really gave to Aunt Mariah. I couldn't care less after I got my ring back. It was a funny story starting the next day.

Adam I love you more today than our wedding day seven years ago. I am such a lucky girl.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year Friends. I know that I have been a major slacker with blogging lately. Sorry. I will be posting early next week. The boys and I have been going a little stir crazy this week since we were sick last week and didn't leave the house at all. I am feeling like I am getting sick now. But I hope that it is just from lack of sleep. I will be doing a lot of sleep for the next two days since Adam will be home.

Christmas Finally

We had a really good Christmas this year. The boys were spoiled rotten as usually and I wasn't good at taking pictures as usual.
The boys favorite presents were all the train stuff they got. Cael got the Cars' Geo Trax set. It is a lot of fun all the characters from the movie are there. Everett got Mickey's Choo Choo Express train. It is really cute and the best part is that the train tracks are only eight pieces long so it is super easy and fast to put together.
Adam and I were pretty spoiled too. Adam got a Wii and I got a gift certificate for a spa. Yay. I just used it last weekend and it was wonderful. I had never had a facial and it was so great. I wouldn't mind having one once every few months. Haha. Like that it going to happen.
We are just so thankful for our wonderful families who love us so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

These are two of the few pictures I took and they were taken before the action started.

Merry Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas Eve all. I hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday full of love, laughter, and the Spirit of Christ. I am so thankful for the Christmas season to remind us all of the Savior's birth.

On a less enjoyable note. Both my boys have croup and I think that I'm getting it too. Fun for us. No sleep and not feeling good is not how I wanted to spend this week.

Done

I am ready for Christmas finally. Everything is wrapped and ready for the big day. Presents have all been sent to those who live far away. Visiting teaching done. I mean everything is done.

It's a good thing too because Cael's only has one day of school left before Christmas break. I won't be able to get anything done with the two of them home the whole day.

What ever happened to my intention of being ready for Christmas by the end of November? I remember a big sick bug ran through our house and ruined those plans. Oh well. We are ready now.

Let the fun of the Christmas season start.

A Christmas Gift for Myself

So I bought this really cool tin star for a Christmas present to give to Adam's Aunt Sharon, but I liked it so much that I've decided to keep it for myself. Am I on the naughty list now? It's like I'm re-gifting, only I re-gifted to myself.

I only feel a little guilty about it. Should I have given it as a gift or kept it for myself?

Christmas Time at Disneyland

We made a quick trip to Disneyland on Saturday. It was so much fun. We got there just in time for the parade. Cael and Everett loved it. I went picture crazy. It was very hard to narrow down the pictures to post, but since it's my blog there are lots of pictures for everyone. Haha.

Picture Update

Here are some pictures of the boys with a quick update of what has been going on.

Everett when he was sick. He was drooling like a crazy man, had a raw upper lip from getting his nose wiped, but was still smiling.

Cael was wearing his brothers pj's. I think they were just a little too small.

After church on Sunday the boys came home and climbed on top of Daddy. Cael fell asleep and Everett just wanted to be included in with the snuggles party.

Everett has started peeing in the potty every once in a while. He did it once on the 1st and three times on the 2nd. He is so proud of himself and loves the m&m's that he gets once he goes.

He also got his first blooding nose yesterday. He was playing on the couch and face planted into the only non cushion covered part of the couch. He was better in less than five minutes and went about the rest of his day like normal. He is a little trooper too.

Cael's School Pictures

Cael got his school pictures back today. These are the retakes because I didn't like his first ones too much. I hate that he isn't looking at the camera, but that is Cael. Sometimes he loves the camera, sometimes he hates it. If anyone wants a picture sent to them, just let me know.

Still a Bad Blogger

Still being a bad blogger because now Everett is running a temp. Agggggggggghhhhh. It is never ending in this house.

I just had to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
I am so thankful for so much that I just don't know where to start.

But thank you all for being in my life. And I love you all so much.

Bad Blogger

Sorry about being a bad blogger.

Cael had a fever for a few days last week and it just threw off my whole plan for finishing as much of my Christmas shopping as possible. Now since Cael is off this week for Thanksgiving, I can't get much done during the day with the two boys. I know that so many women do it all the time, but I'm just not that super. I love Cael being in school for a few hours a day. It is good for everyone involved.

Smarty Pants

Everett has learned how to open doors. Isn't he too young to be able to do that?

Halloween 2009

Okay so I'm really late with this post, but our Halloween ended up being a dud. Cael was not feeling good after waking up from his nap. He wouldn't even entertain the idea of putting his costume on. His belly was really hurting him. He only wanted to lay on Grams and cuddle with her.

So I got Everett dressed and took him to our ward trunk or treat. Everett could have cared less about playing the games and he just kept running outside to run down a ramp. So we left early and just passed out candy at home.

Everett the dragon. He hated the hat part of his costume.

Everett roaring. Scary isn't he?
