Building Trains

Cael got this train for Christmas and this is how he put it together. I think that he did a really good job on it. He wanted to put as many of the blocks on the one section of train as possible. He is so proud of himself. I love his little smile. Good job Cael. I guess that when he grows up he wants to design the trains that the Bowlers all work on.

Still Sicky Boy

So I took Everett back to the doctor on Friday because he developed a rash. The doctor thinks that he has an allergy to ammoxicilion. Great. He had been on it for 10 days, only to find out that it wasn't helping him and it was causing him a rash. Perfect. The double ear infection was worse than before and he was all itchy. Poor boy. Hopefully this new medicine will do the trick because I don't know how much longer I can take the only wants to be held by mommy all day long, won't sleep well in his crib Everett.

Catching Up

Birthday Run Down.

We spend a few hours down at the zoo with the Galyans. It was so much fun except we picked the hottest day of the year to go. So we didn't stay for too long. After leaving the zoo Adam and I took the boys to see Monsters Vs. Aliens. We both liked what we saw. Since Cael doesn't sit through a movie the first time he sees it, we took turns chasing him around. I think he'll really like it when he is able to watch it at home. For my birthday dinner we went down to El Indio because I was wanting some really good mexican food. I wished that I would have ordered something different because my meal was so hot that it was grossing me out. I am the whitest white girl on the block, so anything remotely spicy kills me. I got a carne asada burrito sommered in enchillada sauce. It was the sauce that was hot, not the burrito. Shame on me for not asking about how spicy something is, I guess I learned my lesson the hard way.

Thank you for all my presents and love on my birthday.

MBW

MBW stands for my birthday weekend.

That's right I get a whole weekend to claim birthday fun. It started last night. I made Adam take me to see 17 Again. It was so so so so cute. I would recommend it to everyone. I loved it. I now have a big crush on Zac Efron. After we left the theater, we went to the video store to rent High School Musical 2 & 3. I watched the first HSM for the first time last week while I was at Jill's. I love those kinds of movies because they just put me in a better mood. It makes me remember what first love felt like. Plus, it makes me appreciate what love is now.

Okay. I'm off. I'll talk about more birthday fun later.

Sicky Boy

So I took Everett to the doctor today because he has been running a fever on and off, had crusty eyes, runny nose, and cough since Sunday. Poor kid has a double ear infection and the infection spread to his eyes. So he has to take medicine three times a day and he gets eye drops four times a day. Nothing is worse than a sick baby. He is so extra clingy right now. But what else can a mom do to comfort her sick baby. He has been getting extra baths during the day and a few in the middle of the night to cool him down.

Here he is snuggling with Grams on Sunday. If you look closely at the pictures his eyes are a little red and swollen.

Fun New Feature

While I was in Bakersfield I started playing with this fun feature on my camera. It's called color accent. It takes the picture in black and white and only shows green and yellow tones in the picture. I thought it was lots of fun, but I wish that I could change the accent color to do it with
other pictures too. I know that photo shop has features like this, but it's on my camera. So fun.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter Everyone.

We are home from Jill's, but the boys and I are feeling a little under the weather. The boys have had fevers and a cough and my voice is all scratchy.

Here are some pictures of the boys hunting for eggs. Everett didn't really get it, he just wanted to eat rocks. Fun fun. Cael understood a little too well. He would find an egg and open it up for the m&m's inside. Once he ate all of those, he would look for the next one. Adam and I had to convince Cael to find all the eggs first, than he could eat the candy. By the end of the hunt we were pointing the eggs out to Cael, so we could be done. He gets distracted so easily.

Galyan Chicks

We had fun with the Galyan's and their new chicks. Now we want some, but that will have to wait until we are in our own house. Adam doesn't think so, but the boys and I beat him out with a 3-1 vote. Majority rules.

Learning Quickly

Everett learned how to suck through a straw today. He is learning things so quickly. Cael didn't lean to use a straw untul he was almost three.

MIA

We are at the Galyan's house for the week, so we will probably be MIA this whole week. Hopefully I'll take lots of pictures to post soon.

Loves.

Climbing

Everett has decided that he wants to climb onto anything he can. He can only climb on the bumbo and a stool in the bathroom. But if he were taller he would be climbing into the tub and onto the couch. I can't believe that he is big enough to do that. Crazy kid.

Updated Kitten Pictures

Here are some recent pictures of the kittens. They are three weeks old now. There are six girls and one boy. If anyone is interested please let me know.

This is my favorite kitten. If Adam and I were going to keep one it would be her.
